Massachusetts factory managers plead guilty to immigration violations

Michael Bianco, Inc., a New Bedford , Massachusetts leather-goods factory that makes backpacks for the military, saw first-hand what happens when you hire illegal labor. Two managers from the factory pleaded guilty to federal charges; the plea deals do not include jail time.
ICE radied the factory in early 2007 and detained 361 allegedly illegal workers.

Southern Minnesota Immigration Sweep

Immigration authorities arrested 19 illegal immigrants in Southern Minnesota this week. ICE says six were fugitive aliens, who had either failed to appear for a hearing or fled after being ordered deported. Four had been previously deported and five had criminal convictions.
